Wilding Golf Fitness & Personal Training facility is now open on the 6th floor of Wilding Golf Performance Center, at Thonglor Soi 18. Golf Fitness and Injury Rehabilitation are such an important component to being a better golfer because golf teaching professionals can only work with what is in front of them and often must give advice or a swing fault correction to compensate for a physical limitation, such as a lack of flexibility or poor core strength. This could lead to injury or make any previous or current injury reoccur.

By focusing on enhancing the health and function of the golfer, working on improving posture, flexibility, stability, strength, power, fitness levels and overall muscle balance we can achieve maximum performance and improve your golf game tremendously.

Training Equipment
As well as conventional fitness training equipment, such as gym balls and weights, Wilding Golf Fitness uses the world class TRX Suspension Training System, (http://www.trxtraining.com), which provides a comprehensive, full body workout facility that can be adapted as your fitness improves. The TRX Suspension Training programmes developed by Wilding Golf Fitness are designed for golfers who are looking to improve their game and get that extra edge.

The TRX programs are designed to give the golfers improved flexibility, stability, strength and power. TRX Suspension Training also allows the body to move and work in a full range of motion.

Wilding Golf Fitness Performance is headed up by Golf Fitness Coach Todd Thornbery, who is a qualified Golf Biomechanic, trained by the Chek Institute. Todd has wide experience as a Personal Trainer and Golf Fitness Coach in the UK and Thailand, and his innovative coaching/training style and passion for knowledge has kept him on the leading edge of golf performance and corrective exercise. Todd is supported in the Wilding Golf Fitness Performance area by a team of professional and qualified personal trainers who are continually coached and mentored by Todd.

Injury Rehabilitation
Todd is also a qualified Sports Massage Therapist, and he has wide experience in sporting injury rehabilitation and postural correction. If you have suffered from strains, aches and pains, particularly after a game of golf – or– exercise, Todd can help prevent further and recurring injury by individual programs of exercise, stretching and massage.
